July 2008 Committee Meeting 8pm 3rd July 2008 May 2008 Annual General Meeting Tuesday 20th May 2008 6:00pm Many thanks to the Parents who attended the AGM. Brian Woods resigned as Chair after 4 years service to whom we owe a generous Thanks. Elaine has volunteered to be Chair and a big thanks to her for taking over. Hilary has volunteered to take over duty as Secretary. Lisa has voluteered to be Fund Raiser. David is staying on as Treasurer, John as H & S Officer and WEB master and Rick has volunteered to be a new member of the Committee. Charity status was discussed and we will hopefully be moving forward with this. Also present was Scott who was, apart from being a parent of a BK attendee, representing a group of Scouts who will shortly be part redecorating BeeKeepers as a practice before doing similar work in Malawi. We are hoping work will be started shortly to improve the services to the Scout Hut. Date of next meeting in June to be confirmed. The Car Boot Sale at the end of April raised £99.80. Many thanks to Elaine who organised and ran the stall and to all parents who donated items for sale. Please bring more for us to raise much needed cash to buy new items for BK.
Job Vacancies We currently have a vacancy for a full time member of staff. Please download and fill in the application form. We are keen to hear from people especially parents who would like to become members of Staff in helping and running BeeKeepers. Reductions in fees can be arranged. Please get in touch with Julie.
